Thank you for inviting Kevin/Dariel to minister. It is their desire to bless you and your congregation. We hope you will find the following information helpful to you in preparing for their time of ministry with you. The Board of Kevin Forlong Ministries has set the following guidelines regarding travel and ministry.
Accommodation:
We understand that a significant investment is being made by your church in hosting Kevin and Dariel … we want to maximise this time with you and ensure the ministry is effective, well prepared and powerfully presented. To that end we suggest the following as guidelines for accommodation.
If possible Kevin and Dariel prefer to be on their own in a Motel or Hotel, preferably with a separate bedroom. This allows the best arrangement for prayer, preparation, etc.
If they are to be hosted in a private home, please ensure the hosts understand the need for ‘space’, times of rest and preparation, dietary requirements and have suitable bedroom and bathroom facilities.
These suggestions are not meant to be imposing but simply to allow for longevity in travelling ministry and maximum impact and fruitfulness while with you. It is our heart and intention to serve and build the Body of Christ … thank you for assisting us to do that.
Dietary Requirements:
Both Kevin and Dariel prefer not to eat a main meal before ministering.
Kevin and Dariel eat a plain healthy diet with an emphasis on fresh fruit, vegetables, salads, plain meats, etc.
Dariel is a diagnosed Coeliac which means she is Gluten intolerant. She needs to eat plain food, fresh vegetables, salads, fruit, etc with NO wheat, rye, oats, barley or their by-products. Gluten is often used in emulsifiers, fillers, etc and occurs in many sauces, dressings, mayonnaise, vinegar (balsamic and white are okay), yoghurt, ice cream, and refined carbohydrates.

Recording of Messages:
For all messages Kevin and Dariel speak, we may require a copy for two reasons:
1. To recall anything that was spoken that may not have been on the notes.
2. To use for possible future reproduction.

Resource:
Kevin and Dariel do travel with resource so we ask that tables be provided for the sale of Kevin Forlong Ministries resource. Kevin and Dariel will speak for 3-5 minutes about his / her resource from the pulpit. Since the funds from our resource table sales go to support the day-to-day operation of our ministry, we ask that all monies from the sale of resource go directly to Kevin Forlong Ministries.
Funds and Honorariums:
The Board of Kevin Forlong Ministries has set the following policies regarding national and international travel.
Honorarium:
As a ministry, we have no support from a church base and therefore all the financial needs of the ministry need to be raised from the meetings in which Kevin or Dariel minister and also from our partners. We ask that consideration is given to the love offering / honorarium in respect to the number of meetings taken and days taken up as this is the main source of the ministry’s income.
“Galatians 6:6 says, “Let him who is taught the Word share in all good things with him who teaches.”
We do not have a minimum financial requirement. It is Kevin’s heart to be a blessing to you and your congregation. He prefers a love offering be taken during the services for Kevin Forlong Ministries. We feel it is important that those who receive ministry be given the opportunity to sow. Therefore, we ask that a love offering be designated for Kevin Forlong Ministries during the services in which Kevin or Dariel minister.
If a general offering will be received in any service, please inform the people that a separate offering will be received for Kevin Forlong Ministries.
Airline/Surface Travel:
We ask that travel expenses including airfares, rental car (if required) be reimbursed to Kevin Forlong Ministries.
Where possible these expenses will be shared between other ministry engagements.
A Reimbursement Request will be forwarded to you once travel costs have been established.
